Teams are always looking for new and unique ways to revolutionize the first pitch. The Tampa Bay Rays took things to a strange new level Monday when it featured not one, but two one-of-a-kind first pitches before the team’s win over the Texas Rangers.
In the video below, you can see one first pitch chip from Golf Channel personality Holly Sonders, followed by an awkward, pirouetting first pitch from two Rockettes dancers:

— Holly Sonders (@HollySondersGC) September 16, 2013 The Rockettes’ performance wasn’t my favorite, but Sonders’ shot, right into the glove of Cesar Ramos, was pretty cool — maybe not shoot-a-ball-with-an-arrow cool , but noteworthy nonetheless.
